O-Ring Market Surveys

Leading Supplier Price & Quantity Comparisons

Following are published prices from all the websites found on the first two pages of Google™ searches (03/12/05) for the term "rubber o-rings" that both sold o-rings and published their prices on the internet (most don't; others shouldn't!).

• Survey Dates:  03/12/2005 - 03/20/2005; all prices subject to change without notice.  (We will periodically update the tables.)
   
• Survey Items include 50 randomly selected, standard sized o-rings  and are presented in correlation to Standard Gasket's standard materials and four-tier pricing structure.
   
• For comparative purposes, prices have been correlated to Standard Gasket's in two ways:
   
  1. Minimums offered by each, where stated, are represented exactly as listed on sources' websites; those not stating minimum purchase requirements are represented with their published prices at Standard Gasket's minimum quantities.  (AnySeals' prices all o-rings by the hundreds, so their prices are included at Standard Gasket's minimum quantities rounded up to the nearest hundreds.)
      
  2. Low, medium, and high quantities based on each source's published prices and break quantities (where offered) at Standard Gasket's price-quantity breaks, except where exceeded by their minimums, in which case that quantity was used.  Most offer special quotations by request for larger requirements which are obviously not reflected in the tables.
      
• Every effort has been made to accurately represent the published prices of the o-ring suppliers included in the survey, but the possibility of typographical errors on the part of the sources or Standard Gasket exists.  Users are, therefore, encouraged to validate data before making purchasing decisions on the basis of this information.  Links to the source websites and more details can be found on the O-Ring Supplier Website Evaluation page.
   
• All varieties listed are manufactured and sold according to the same dimensions and tolerances (defined by the AS 568 standard) using proprietary rubber compounds designed to meet similar physical property and application requirements.   See Physical Properties Evaluation page for more  specific technical data and comparisons.
